Town Inn
Arrive at this place June 17th, 1974 to start my illustrious career at IBM. The first day of work at IBM I reported to the Vancouver Airport, got on a plane and was sent to Toronto (and this long-stay "hotel") to learn to fix typewriters.
Which only made sense ("corporate" sense that is) since I had, at the time, already 6 years of programming experience. Therefore in the usual corporate fashion I was set on an entirely different career path for a number of years. Got back into programming professionally about 8 years later.
Lived here, in downtown Toronto, for about 4 months. In 2008, 34 years later, it looks about the same as it did in '74.
